The Lycian Way is a coastal walk in southern Turkey and this walk is on the east section. This is a self-guided walk, which will involve an 8-day holiday with 6 full days walking. It is graded Moderate and walks are 4 to 7 hours long each day on paths which may be stony in parts. It is a walking holiday suitable for regular walkers.

You will see Turkey’s unspoiled splendour, and pass ruins from Lycian, Roman, and Greek civilizations on the way. Highlights include exploring the ancient city of Olympus, seeing the burning flames of Chimaera, a climb up Musa Dagi Mountain, and great hospitality of local people.

The other Lycian Way walking holidays from Macs Adventure is on the west side. This is a rustic path that winds along the rocky coastline on old mule and cliff-top paths. The highlights on this walk will include cliff-top views of the azures Mediterranean, views down the amazing Butterfly Valley from Faralya Village, and the ruins of Patara, which includes the necropolis, aqueduct, and basilica.
